Jason H. Crockett, a native of Washington, DC, and proud graduate of Theodore Roosevelt High School, began his career with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) after attending the University of the District of Columbia. His distinguished 45-year career with NASA has afforded him the unique opportunity to partner with multiple aeronautics and space programs.
Mr. Crockett is currently a Program Specialist in the Aeronautics Research Mission Directorate (ARMD) at NASA headquarters here in D.C. and continues to serve both as a member of the Culture Team within NASA in collaboration with DEIA and as a member of the NASA Organizational Transition Team where he is responsible for recommending policies and procedures to improve the virtual/hybrid working and communication environment between management and staff. Other areas of responsibility include IT staffing, policy directive initiatives and coordination of the Aeronautics Capability Leadership Team.
Over the last 40 years, Jason, with wife Valerie, have raised three sons and a daughter while being actively involved in volunteer activities that benefit young people. His passion for benefiting young people has been the motivation for his demonstrated commitment, support, and investment in the lives of adolescent boys served by the GateWay Boarding Academy Foundation.
